- are learning to walk

- have difficulty walking independently 

- frequently fall 

- walk on their toes

- have an unusual gait pattern

Torticollis

Physical therapy can help infants with positioning and movement differences associated with torticollis. Treatment may focus on: 

- neck range of motion

- head positioning during daily life 

- strength

- symmetry 

- tummy time

 - developmental positioning 

Toe walking

For children who frequently walk on their toes, therapy may address strength, flexibility, balance, motor control, sensory needs, and functional mobility.
